Kerr Kriisa: Kentucky guard Kerr Kriisa has entered the NCAA Transfer Portal. He was a member of the Wildcats for just one season. Last offseason, Kriisa moved from West Virginia to Kentucky.
Kriisa suffered an injury that ended his season. On December 7th, he suffered a foot fracture in Kentucky's 90-89 win over Gonzaga.
Before the injury, Kriisa played just nine games. He did manage to preserve one year of eligibility because of the injury. Kriisa averaged 4.4 points, 2.4 rebounds, and 3.8 assists per game before the injury.

He struggled with his shooting, making just 27.9% of his field-goal attempts and 26.3% of his three-point attempts.
He provided a useful spark off the bench despite these struggles. Kriisa finished the game against Gonzaga with eight points, three rebounds, and four assists.
After falling on the play, he quickly got back to defend a fast break, showing excellent hustle. Kriisa will be in his sixth year of college basketball if he plays in the next season.

He began his college career at Arizona, where he stayed for his first three seasons. Before joining Kentucky, he played one season at West Virginia.
Kriisa's leaving from Kentucky was not entirely surprising.
He said he was unsure of his future earlier in March. "I'm not sure if I want to continue with another three months of college," he said. Summers at college are long. I may travel overseas. We will see.
Competition in Kentucky's backcourt could also have an impact on Kriisa's exit.
Guards Jasper Johnson and Acaden Lewis, both freshmen, are joining the Wildcats.

Next season, they also have Travis Perry, Trent Noah, Collin Chandler, and Otega Oweh coming back. To complete his college eligibility, Kriisa will continue to look for a new program.
He has made 108 outings and 94 starts in his career. Any team that signs him will benefit from his experience.
Kriisa's journey is far from finished, but his time at Kentucky is over. The college basketball world will be watching to see where he ends up next.
