Is Nico Collins Playing Today: The Houston Texans have already locked in a postseason berth with one game remaining in the regular season.

Houston Texans WR Nico Collins on the sideline; confirms if is nico collins playing today as he rests for the NFL playoffs.

Their final playoff position and hosting status will be decided during Week 18. Houston closes the regular season with a divisional matchup against the Indianapolis Colts.

The organization appears focused on long-term postseason readiness rather than short-term results. As part of that approach, the Texans will rest key personnel.

NFL Media reporter Jane Slater confirmed that wide receiver Nico Collins will not suit up against Indianapolis.

The move underscores Houston’s intent to protect its core players ahead of next weekend’s playoff game.

Nico Collins was listed on Houston’s practice report during the week, though the designation was for scheduled rest and not a medical issue. He is not carrying an injury status for the game.

The Texans’ receiving corps also features Jayden Higgins, Christian Kirk, Jaylin Noel, Xavier Hutchinson, Justin Watson, and Braxton Berrios.

Houston still has a path to the AFC South crown entering the final weekend of the regular season.

A victory over Indianapolis, paired with a Jacksonville loss to Tennessee, would clinch the division.

If both the Texans and Jaguars win, Houston would finish as the conference’s No. 5 seed.

A defeat in Week 18 could drop the Texans into any of the three wild-card slots.
