Hilary Duff: Hilary Duff just traded the tour schedule for a tropical getaway.

The singer and actress recently vacationed in Riviera Nayarit, Mexico.

She is balancing family life with her first major headlining tour in nearly two decades.

The trip, shared in October 2026, also revived online chatter about celebrity friendships and motherhood.

A Girls' Trip on Mexico's Pacific Coast

Duff traveled with seven friends, according to The Times of India and CinemaBlend.

Actress Mandy Moore joined her. So did food personality Gaby Dalkin and makeup artist Kelsey Deenihan Fisher.

The group also included Janice Gott, Whitney Wagner Hartley, Amanda Lillywhite and Haylee Christine.

The women stayed at the One&Only Mandarina resort. Duff's trip highlights included poolside lounging and a spa visit in white robes.

The friends also played Mahjong and shared meals.

On the beach, Duff wore a bright yellow one-piece swimsuit with cutout details.

She added a blue baseball cap, oversized sunglasses and hoop earrings.

The trip followed her 39th birthday on September 28. She marked the occasion with a belated celebration alongside friends.

Duff captioned the getaway, "The group chat made it to the jungle."

Tisdale Essay Fuels Online Chatter

The trip drew extra attention because of earlier speculation about Ashley Tisdale.

In January, Tisdale published an essay in The Cut titled "Breaking Up With My Toxic Mom Group."

She wrote about feeling left out of a circle of mothers. She described social divisions and side conversations. She said she chose to walk away.

Tisdale never named the women involved. Still, the internet drew its own conclusions.

Online users linked the essay to Duff, Moore, Dalkin and Meghan Trainor. They pointed to earlier photos and past online activity.

The vacation sparked a fresh round of reactions.

Commenters joked that Tisdale had been left off the guest list.

CinemaBlend stressed that these reactions reflect online speculation.

They are not verified facts about how Tisdale feels about the trip.

The outlet reported that Tisdale no longer follows Duff or Moore on social media.

That detail does not reveal her reaction to the vacation.

Duff Opens Up About the Controversy

Duff addressed the buzz earlier this year on Alex Cooper's "Call Her Daddy" podcast. She described her reaction to Tisdale's essay as emotional.

"I felt really sad. I honestly felt really sad. I was pretty, pretty taken aback, and felt just, like, sad.

So I think I just was like, 'Whoa.' It sucks to read something that's, like, not true," Duff said.

Moore on Friendships After Motherhood

Moore has spoken about the value of friendships formed through parenting.

In an interview with Glamour, she called those bonds especially meaningful.

"I feel exceedingly lucky that my kids happen to spend time with people that I feel like our values are aligned with," Moore said.

She also reflected on how those friendships have shaped her adult life.

"The friends that I've made since becoming a parent are some of the deeper, more surprising friendships I've found as an adult," Moore said.

A Busy Schedule Ahead

Duff's calendar is packed. Her Lucky Me Tour kicked off June 21 in West Palm Beach. It has since stretched into 2027.

New dates have been added across Europe, Latin America and the United States, according to Thought Catalog.

She also released a new song, "CATastrophe," on October 2. The track was written for Warner Bros.

Pictures Animation's upcoming film "The Cat in the Hat." Duff co-wrote it with her husband, Matthew Koma.

Madison Love and Brian Phillips also helped write it. A music video arrived with the release.

"Dr. Seuss was on repeat in our house for years, so when this came around I didn't have to think about it," Duff said in a statement.

The film opens November 6, 2026. Its soundtrack arrives October 30.

Duff will also receive Billboard's Outstanding Pop Tour of the Year award at the Live Music Summit on November 10.

Life Off the Stage

Duff has a 14-year-old son, Luca, with her ex-husband, Mike Comrie. She also has three daughters with Koma. Banks is 7. Mae is 5. Townes is 2.

The Mexico trip gave Duff a short break from family and work duties. Her tour is set to roll on soon.
