Sources confirmed the news to PEOPLE. Foxx, 58, has welcomed a baby with his girlfriend, Alyce Huckstepp, 31. It is their first child together.
Representatives for Foxx did not immediately respond to a request for comment from PEOPLE.
A Growing Family
The "Soul" star is already a dad to two daughters. Corinne, 32, is his child with ex Connie Kline. Anelise, 18, is his child with ex Kristin Grannis.
The baby news first surfaced months ago. TMZ was the first outlet to report it. PEOPLE then confirmed in May that Foxx and Huckstepp were expecting.
How the Couple Got Here
Foxx and Huckstepp became public in August 2023. PEOPLE confirmed the relationship after the pair were spotted dining with a group in Malibu, California.
Multiple sources said the couple split in January 2025. It was a hectic stretch for the actor. He released the film "Back in Action" with his friend Cameron Diaz that month.
It arrived just weeks after his Netflix special, "Jamie Foxx: What Had Happened Was...," began streaming.
A source described his mindset at the time. "Jamie is super busy, just the way he likes it," the source told PEOPLE.
The insider added that he had so much going on that he barely had time to stop and reflect on how blessed he is.
Back Together
The breakup did not last. By April 2025, the two were hanging out again. They were photographed leaving Nobu in Malibu.
It is the same restaurant where they shared a group date in the summer of 2023.
They were seen together again that October. This time, they were in Miami with a larger group.
They took a tour of the Miami River. Then they had dinner at the Greek restaurant Kiki on The River.
Foxx on Fatherhood
Foxx has spoken openly about parenting before. In a 2017 interview with PEOPLE, he talked about raising his daughters in the entertainment world.
"In this business, sometimes it can get crazy," he said. He added that he is proud of his girls and that they turned out fine.
He also shared his favorite part of being a dad. He spoke about it on Ellen Digital's series "Dad Confessions." Foxx said he loves hearing his daughters call him "dad."
He also loves seeing them light up when he walks into a room. And he enjoys helping them work through problems he has faced himself.
