Kilby Block Party 2027: Kilby Block Party has dropped its 2027 lineup.
The festival is bringing indie acts from around the world to Salt Lake City. Local artists are part of the mix too.
Last year's event had indie pop star Lorde as its headliner. She called Kilby the coolest festival ever. That is a tough act to follow.
This year's festival has six headliners. They are Deftones, Fontaines D.C., The Strokes, Slayyyter, Jungle and Lil Yachty.
A few names are still under wraps. They appear as question marks on the poster.
Other artists on the bill include Two Door Cinema Club, Julien Baker and Spoon. The festival also has a strong international presence.
Wolf Parade is coming from Canada. Bandalos Chinos is traveling from Argentina. Idles is crossing over from England.
Kilby Block Party started small. It began as a real block party in Salt Lake City in 2019. Since then, it has grown fast.
It moved from the Kilby Court venue to the Utah State Fairpark. In 2026, it drew more than 34,000 visitors.
The festival also gives the local economy a major lift. An economic impact report shows that 46% of 2026 attendees came from out of state. The event added $33.5 million to Utah's GDP.
Even so, Kilby stays true to its roots. Every lineup has included local acts. Last year, that meant The Moss and Ritt Momney.
This year, several Utah artists are on the bill. Olympic Deth was founded in Provo.
Seeking the Sun splits its time between Salt Lake City and New York City.
Choir Boy is based in Salt Lake City. The band has played Kilby Block Party before.
The 2027 festival runs May 14-16 at the Utah State Fairpark in Salt Lake City. Early bird tickets are already sold out.
Three-day general admission passes cost $245. Three-day VIP passes cost $409.
Both go on sale Oct. 29 at 10 a.m. MDT. Organizers have not said when single-day passes will be available.
