Dancing With The Stars Elimination: Two more celebrities are out of the ballroom.
Dancing With the Stars said goodbye to a pair of couples after Horror Movie Night. The race for the mirrorball trophy just got tighter.
Who Went Home in Week 7
The Bachelorette star Tyler Cameron and pro partner Sharna Burgess were eliminated.
So were Savannah Bananas baseball player Jackson Olson and pro partner Emma Slater.
No one left last week during Dedication Night. That made this a double elimination.
Results combined Week 7 judges' scores and viewer votes with totals carried over from Week 6.
Olson's exit stunned many. He had tied for fifth place with Maura Higgins.
Higgins stayed and outscored both Julia Stiles and Tatyana Ali with the judges. The combined totals were not enough to save Olson.
Farewell Words
Cameron called the experience incredible. He praised Burgess for being so good to him.
He said he felt disappointed in himself on stage. He felt he had let her down after all she gave him.
He also shared that there is a special woman in his life now. He said he feels very lucky.
Olson said he had wanted this spot since last year. He made several videos hoping to land it.
Then he got the show and a great partner in Slater. He called the whole journey amazing.
Top of the Leaderboard
Harry Shum Jr. and pro partner Jenna Johnson made history this season.
They earned 10s from every judge for their contemporary routine. It was the first perfect score of Season 35.
Johnson's Week 5 lift sparked a controversy. That moment led to a one-week suspension for Val Chmerkovskiy.
Chmerkovskiy is now back on the dance floor. He and celebrity partner Jenna Dewan scored 37.
That tied them for second place with Connor Wood and pro dancer Rylee Arnold.
A Tough Guest Scorecard
Shirley Ballas made a guest appearance on Tuesday. She is the head judge of the U.K. version of the show. She is also the mother of pro dancer Mark Ballas.
She did not go easy on her son. She gave Mark and partner Maura Higgins a 7 out of 10. Carrie Ann Inaba scored them a 9. Derek Hough and Bruno Tonioli each gave them an 8.
About Season 35
The ABC competition kicked off on Sept. 15. A new group of celebrities set out to follow Season 34 champion Robert Irwin.
The cast includes Glee star Harry Shum Jr. It also features 10 Things I Hate About You actor Julia Stiles. The Traitors' Maura Higgins is in the mix too.
Inaba, Derek Hough and Tonioli remain at the judges' table. Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough are hosting for a fourth straight season.
