The post celebrated her fifth Official Chart Double. "Patient Zero" and The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore reached No. 1 in the U.K. at the same time.
Official Charts also noted that Swift is the only artist with three No. 1 singles so far in 2026.
The photo was credited to TAS Rights Management. TAS stands for Taylor Alison Swift.
Fans quickly filled the comments. Many hoped the haircut signals the start of another musical era.
That has often been the case with her past style changes. One fan praised the hair, the outfit and the chart success.
Another called the look stunning. Several users said the cut reminded them of her 1989 and Reputation eras.
This is not the first time she has gone shorter this year. In August, she stepped out with a shorter cut.
It was her first public appearance since her July wedding to Travis Kelce. That came about a month before The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore was released.
Kelce and his brother, Jason Kelce, also weighed in on her music recently.
They reacted to her new song "Cleveland!" The title appears to reference the brothers' hometown.
