Taylor Swift: Taylor Swift showed up with a brand-new look over the weekend.
The pop star, 36, wore her shortest hairstyle in years while attending a wedding in the United Kingdom on Saturday, Aug. 15.
Swift traveled with fellow music stars Sabrina Carpenter and Jack Antonoff for the celebration.
The trio gathered to watch recording engineers Oli Jacobs and Laura Sisk tie the knot. Swift's fresh haircut took center stage at the event.
Her signature bangs remained untouched. She wore a navy dress featuring gold floral embroidery for the occasion.
The singer completed her look with a bold red lip. She also wore her engagement ring and wedding band. Swift married NFL star Travis Kelce earlier this summer.
Fans first spotted the shorter cut days earlier. Swift was photographed leaving London's Annabel's private club on Wednesday, Aug. 12.
She left the venue with a friend, sporting hair trimmed to shoulder length.
Swift has favored long, straight blonde hair for much of her recent career. Lately, though, she's been embracing her natural texture more often.
That shift became visible when she released promotional images for her new single tied to "Toy Story 5."
The photos showed her with textured, bang-framed hair and a Western-inspired style.
A similar look appeared once before, back in 2024. Swift wore it during a night out in Sydney with Carpenter.
She had brought back the textured style earlier that year while cheering on Kelce, also 36, at an NFL game.
Swift opened up about her hair's transformation in a 2019 Elle interview marking her 30th birthday.
She described how dramatically her texture changed over time. "From birth, I had the curliest hair and now it is STRAIGHT," she wrote.
She added that her curls eventually returned, joking that she'd once prayed for them to come back.
The wedding took place at Peter Gabriel's Real World Studios near Bath, Gloucestershire.
Swift's attendance reflects her long professional history with the couple.
Sisk and Jacobs rank among her most frequent studio collaborators, having worked on multiple albums together.
Both Carpenter and Antonoff also maintain close working ties with the newlyweds and with Swift herself.
Jacobs' connection to the venue runs deep. He started his career there as an assistant engineer, according to his website, and spent eight years working his way up to head engineer before relocating to Los Angeles in 2022.
Sisk currently works as a recording engineer based in Los Angeles and New York. She attended Swift's wedding to Kelce at Madison Square Garden this past July.
