Mutiny Jason Statham: Jason Statham's latest action thriller is heading to living rooms.

"Mutiny" has moved to digital platforms after its theater run. The film now gets a second chance with home audiences.

Statham plays Cole Reed. He is a former police officer and Special Forces operative.

Reed works as a bodyguard in Bangkok. Then his employer is killed. Reed finds himself caught in a conspiracy.

The plot turns fast. Reed is framed for the murder of Tibu Campallo.

Campallo is a billionaire who owns a freight company. Reed escapes aboard one of Campallo's ships. He goes looking for answers.

Jean-François Richet directed the film. J.P. Davis and Lindsay Michel wrote it.

Annabelle Wallis, Jason Wong, Roland Møller, Arnas Fedaravicius and Adrian Lester join the cast. Statham also produced the film alongside Marc Butan.

The theatrical run made little noise, according to Collider. That makes the digital release a big opportunity.

Statham's action films often find new life on streaming after leaving theaters.

The numbers tell the story. MovieWeb reported that "Mutiny" grossed $30 million. Its budget was $40 million.

Several of Statham's recent films have also had uneven results in theaters.

Not every Statham film struggled. "Wrath of Man" was a stronger performer. The 2021 thriller paired Statham with director Guy Ritchie.

It earned $104 million against a $40 million budget. Audiences loved it too. The film holds a 90% audience score on the Popcornmeter, MovieWeb reported.

There is good news for fans of that film. "Wrath of Man" arrives on the free streaming service Tubi on November 1 in the United States. It was previously available on Prime Video.

Another Statham thriller is also worth a look. In "Shelter," he plays Michael Mason. Mason is a former MI6 and Royal Marines agent.

He rescues a young girl during a storm. Then he is pulled back into danger, Elle reported.

Ric Roman Waugh directed the film. Bill Nighy, Daniel Mays, Naomi Ackie, Bodhi Rae Breathnach, Céline Buckens and Harriet Walter co-star.

"Shelter" is available on Prime Video. Viewers can watch it with a subscription. They can also rent or buy it.

For Statham fans, the options are stacking up. Some films stumbled in theaters. Streaming may be where they shine.
