Golden State entered the game short-handed in the frontcourt. The absence of key big men left the team vulnerable in the paint.

San Antonio quickly took advantage of the mismatch. The Spurs opened the game with strong energy.

They jumped out to a 17–3 lead within the first four minutes. That early run immediately put the Warriors on the defensive.

Golden State attempted to fight back and reduce the deficit. They managed to close the gap during the middle stages of the game.

However, San Antonio maintained control and never allowed the Warriors to fully recover.

Wembanyama led the Spurs with an outstanding all-around performance. He controlled the interior on both offense and defense.

His performance continues to strengthen his case as one of the league’s top players this season.

San Antonio stayed in control late in the game and secured the 127–113 victory on the road.

The San Antonio Spurs took full control of the game before halftime against the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday night at Chase Center.

Victor Wembanyama dominated the first half and gave San Antonio a comfortable lead.

By the break, the Spurs were ahead by 21 points. Wembanyama had already recorded 27 points and 13 rebounds in just 17 minutes of play.

His early performance created a gap the Warriors struggled to overcome. Golden State tried to respond in the second half.

The Warriors managed to reduce the deficit for a short time. However, they were unable to recover from the large first-half deficit.

San Antonio maintained its lead and closed out the game with a 127–113 win. Wembanyama finished the night with an outstanding stat line.

He recorded 41 points, 18 rebounds, three assists, and three blocks in only 29 minutes.

San Antonio also received strong support from the rest of the roster. Six Spurs players scored in double figures during the game.

Among them was former Warriors forward Harrison Barnes, who scored 13 points against his former team.

The balanced scoring and Wembanyama’s dominant performance helped San Antonio secure the road victory.

Nate Williams delivered a strong performance for the short-handed Golden State Warriors despite the team’s loss.

He led Golden State in scoring and played extended minutes due to the limited rotation.

Williams scored 18 points and shot 8-for-18 from the field. He also contributed four rebounds and two steals during the game.

He was on the court for 47 minutes as the Warriors relied heavily on their available players.

Rookie guard LJ Cryer made his first career start and provided solid offensive support. Cryer finished with 17 points while shooting 6-for-12 from the field.

His performance was one of the bright spots for Golden State in the game.

However, the Warriors were unable to close the gap after falling behind early, as San Antonio maintained control throughout the night.

With Stephen Curry still unavailable due to injury, Draymond Green stepped up offensively for the Golden State Warriors in their game against the San Antonio Spurs.

Green contributed from long distance and provided spacing for the offense.

He made four shots from three-point range on six attempts. He ended the game with 14 points and contributed on both ends of the floor.

The Warriors will have little time to regroup after the loss. Golden State is scheduled to play again the next night.

They will host the Cleveland Cavaliers in the second game of a home back-to-back at Chase Center.

The quick schedule turnaround gives Golden State a chance to respond immediately following the defeat.
