EE Outage: Many EE and BT users are struggling with mobile service today. Many say they aren’t able to make or receive calls. The issue appears to be widespread.
The website Downdetector, which tracks user-reported outages, showed a sharp rise in complaints.
By around 2 PM BST, more than 2,500 EE customers had reported problems. Some users also mentioned trouble with other mobile networks.
Vodafone and Three have told the BBC that their networks are running normally. They confirmed there are no technical issues on their side.

Meanwhile, some users on other networks have also reported issues on Downdetector.
But these are most likely people who are unable to connect to EE or BT numbers, not because their own networks are down.
Many people have taken to social media to share their frustration. They’re reporting that both EE and BT mobile and landline services are down.
