Jim Carrey: Jim Carrey is married again. Reports confirmed on Sept. 30 that the actor wed longtime girlfriend Min Ah.
The couple held a private ceremony in Los Angeles. It is the third marriage for the 64-year-old star.
A Change of Heart
The news comes more than 10 years after Carrey said marriage was unlikely for him.
He told ABC News he could not say how he would feel if he met someone who truly swept him off his feet.
He added that he could not set firm rules about the future. He also said he would not choose marriage willingly.
Who Is Min Ah?
Few details are public about Carrey's new wife. She is reportedly an actress and artist. She also goes by the name Minzi.
It is not clear how the two met. They were first photographed together in February 2022.
Their first official outing as a couple came at the César Awards in February 2026. Carrey spoke at the ceremony in Paris and thanked her from the stage.
He called her his "sublime companion" and said he loved her, according to a translation from French.
Age Gap
Reports put the age difference at 32 years. Carrey was 64 at the time of the wedding. Min Ah is reportedly 32.
Carrey's Previous Marriages
Carrey's first wife was Melissa Womer. The two met at The Comedy Store in Los Angeles.
She worked there as a cocktail waitress. He performed there as a stand-up comedian.
They married in 1987 and divorced in 1995. Womer has said his rise to fame played a role in the split.
Carrey wed his "Dumb and Dumber" co-star Lauren Holly in 1996. The marriage ended less than a year later.
Some speculated that Carrey's relationship with Holly contributed to his breakup with Womer.
Holly has said the two were already separated when she and Carrey got together.
