Rihanna: Rihanna is celebrating motherhood in a new way. The 38-year-old singer posted a heartwarming tribute to her only daughter on Instagram.
She shared it on Saturday, Sept. 26. The post features Rocki Irish Mayers, her 1-year-old daughter with A$AP Rocky.
The videos and photos capture playful, funny moments between mother and child.
The post opens with a video of Rocki wearing an oversized wig. She sits in a high chair. She tugs at the long black hairpiece.
Voices off-camera can be heard laughing. Someone apologizes in the background.
Another clip shows Rocki covered in Fenty Beauty blush. She sits next to Rihanna as her mom gets ready.
Additional videos show the toddler waving at the camera. She also naps in her mother's arms.
In one scene, Rocki blows raspberries. She pulls on Rihanna's hat while sitting in her lap.
She then reaches for her mom's Louis Vuitton purse. Rihanna moves the bag out of reach. Rocki starts to cry.
"But hold on, can I take this? It's mine," Rihanna tells her daughter in the clip.
She then returns the purse to Rocki. The toddler stops crying. She goes back to touching the bag.
The post also includes a photo of Rocki looking curiously at a snake. Other images show her posing on a red carpet.
Several show off her stylish outfits. One picture captures her hair being set in rollers.
Rihanna captioned the post with humor. "Who let me have a daughter, bro?" she wrote.
Rihanna and Rocky, 37, share two other children. Their sons are Riot Rose, 3, and RZA Athelston, 4.
This latest tribute comes two weeks after Rocki's first birthday. She turned one on Sept. 13.
Rocki wore a pink ruffled outfit for the celebration. Rihanna matched her daughter in a similar look.
The images were shared by Rihanna's friend Melissa Forde on Instagram. One photo shows Rihanna kissing her daughter's forehead.
She wore ruffle shorts and black tights to complete her outfit.
Forde wrote a sweet caption for the birthday post. "Happyyy Birthdayyy Rocki Irish," she wrote. She added that she couldn't believe "Auntie's baby" was already turning one.
Rocki made her magazine debut earlier this year. She appeared alongside Rihanna on the cover of W magazine's April Pop Issue.
In the accompanying interview, Rocky spoke about Rihanna's evolution as a mother.
He said she "has changed a lot" since becoming a parent. He added that she "has always been magic."
"Philosophically, the way she operates is on another level," Rocky said.
He called Rihanna "the most charming and genuine person on Earth." He described her energy as "unmatched" and "one of a kind."
