The Rams acquired Garrett from the Cleveland Browns during the 2026 offseason.

That's a significant investment for a player now facing IR after just one game. 49ers fans are familiar with costly gambles like this one.
The Rams also lured Aaron Donald out of retirement this offseason. The plan was simple: pair Donald with Garrett to build a dominant pass rush.
That vision remains unrealized. Garrett has played in a limited sample so far, and Donald has yet to make his season debut.
