Running back Chris Rodriguez Jr. was added to the report and designated as questionable.
Team officials said an illness prompted the late status update.
Chris Rodriguez Jr. has carried the ball 96 times for 435 yards and five touchdowns across 12 appearances for Washington this season.
Jacory Croskey-Merritt stands as the Commanders’ top rusher so far this year.
Jeremy McNichols and Chase Edmonds remain the other running backs listed on the club’s 53-man roster.
The Washington Commanders confirmed multiple roster absences ahead of Thursday’s game.
Quarterbacks Jayden Daniels and Marcus Mariota were officially ruled out on Wednesday.
Daniels is sidelined with a left elbow injury. Mariota will miss the contest due to hand and quad ailments.
Josh Johnson is expected to take the first snap at quarterback. Jeff Driskel is slated to back him up.
Sam Hartman was elevated from the practice squad to provide additional depth.
The Commanders will also be without several key starters.
Linebacker Nick Bellore was ruled out after entering concussion protocol.
Defensive tackle Daron Payne will miss the game with a back issue.
Left tackle Laremy Tunsil was also declared out because of an oblique injury.
