Trump Pardon Rudy Giuliani: Donald Trump has issued pardons to numerous political allies. These individuals were reportedly connected to attempts to challenge the results of the 2020 presidential election.

President Trump signed a proclamation granting a full and unconditional pardon to allies, including Trump Pardon Rudy Giuliani, for 2020 election actions.

The details were shared by Ed Martin, the Department of Justice’s Pardon Attorney. On Sunday night, Martin posted a proclamation on X naming those who received pardons.

The list highlights well-known figures like Rudy Giuliani and Sidney Powell, two of Trump’s lawyers. It also includes Mark Meadows, the former White House chief of staff. Many others are included as well.

The document says the proclamation “corrects a serious wrong done to the American people after the 2020 Presidential Election.”

It also mentions that it “advances the nation’s path toward reconciliation.” The text is dated November 7, and it seems the president has signed it.

The proclamation provides a “full, complete, and unconditional pardon” to all those named. Some of them are Trump’s co-defendants charged in Georgia over efforts to challenge the 2020 election results.

Federal pardons apply only to national charges. They do not cover state or local cases. The document also clearly states that President Trump is not included.

CNN has requested comments from the White House and Martin’s office. Last week, the president also extended clemency to a retired New York City police officer.

The officer was convicted in 2023 for stalking a New Jersey family on behalf of China. Trump additionally pardoned former Major League Baseball star Darryl Strawberry for a 1995 tax evasion case.
