Dillon Danis UFC: Dillon Danis is officially done with the UFC. The fighter, known for stirring trouble at events he wasn’t even competing in, has now been permanently banned.

Dillon Danis banned for life from all events after the UFC 322 brawl, crushing his dillon danis ufc career hopes forever.

UFC president Dana White shared the decision with reporters after UFC 322. “You will never see Dillon Danis at a UFC fight ever again,” White said.

His remarks came after Danis sparked another chaotic scuffle with members of Islam Makhachev’s team, a scene that took well over a dozen security personnel to break apart.

The fight erupted after the featured prelim wrapped up, a bout Bo Nickal finished with a knockout in the third round. It unfolded moments before the main card was set to kick off at Madison Square Garden.

The tension had roots that went back to 2018. That was the year Khabib Nurmagomedov and Conor McGregor clashed.

McGregor trained with Danis then, while Makhachev was part of Khabib’s team, and the rivalry has lingered ever since. The animosity reached a breaking point in that moment.

After Khabib Nurmagomedov submitted Conor McGregor in the fourth round, he leaped toward Dillon Danis. That move set off a chaotic fight.

The melee poured out of the cage and spread into the stands. Dana White said he holds himself partly responsible for the chaos.

He shared this while speaking to reporters after UFC 322 on Saturday night. White explained that staff told him just before the main card that Dillon Danis was in the building.

They said Danis kept moving around and sitting in seats reserved for fighters instead of the one assigned to him. He did have a ticket, though.

Security asked White if they should remove him. White double-checked whether Danis actually had a valid ticket, and they confirmed he did.

They also warned him that Jorge Masvidal had vowed to go after Danis the moment he saw him. White asked where Masvidal was sitting. Security said he was only a few rows away.

White decided that if Danis had a ticket, he should be allowed to stay in his seat. He told them to leave Danis alone but keep a close eye on him.

Danis soon found himself in a scrap with Islam Makhachev’s teammates.

White said it hadn’t even occurred to him that a large group of Makhachev’s closest allies were sitting in the first few rows. He admitted it was an oversight on his part.

When the brawl erupted, he immediately knew what had sparked it. White also revealed that the UFC had the option to pursue charges against Danis.

White said he received a call from downstairs during the chaos. Security told him they had Danis detained and asked if he wanted to press charges and have him arrested. White declined.

He said this is the fight business and he understands how these situations unfold. He also admitted the whole thing could have been avoided.

Danis has been eager to break into the UFC for a long time. He even described his planned path to the promotion during an exclusive interview with The Post in August.

Danis said he had a conversation with Hunter Campbell, the UFC’s chief business officer. He noted that some of what they discussed couldn’t be shared publicly.

According to Danis, Campbell encouraged him to stay active and show he’s serious about fighting. Danis also mentioned several potential opponents he would like to face in the UFC.

Danis said in August that he didn’t rate the 170-pound division very highly. He insisted the competition wasn’t strong.

He pointed to Kevin Holland and tried to recall the fighter Holland recently lost to. He argued that several athletes in the top 15 weren’t as good as their rankings suggested.

Danis claimed he would breeze through someone like Daniel Rodriguez. He went as far as calling many of them “terrible.”

Now, his hopes of joining the UFC appear to have collapsed.

This comes even though he still has a fight scheduled for Dec. 20 against Anthony Taylor in the regional promotion “Misfits.”
