Milos Kerkez is now Liverpool’s third big addition this summer. He joins Jeremie Frimpong and Florian Wirtz, the talented German midfielder. Wirtz arrived on a club-record deal worth up to £116 million ($159 million).

This summer marks a bold shift in Liverpool’s transfer approach. Unlike last year, when only two players were signed — Federico Chiesa for €12 million ($16.4 million) and Giorgi Mamardashvili for €30 million ($41 million). Mamardashvili was immediately loaned back to Valencia.
