Mike Vrabel Patriots: The New England Patriots were an absolute dynasty from 2009-2019. They had the AFC East on lock with 11 straight division titles. Much has changed since that time.
The team appears to be in decline. They have finished in last place in the division for two years in a row.
In the last five seasons, the team has made the playoffs once and they have not won a playoff game since 2018.
Watching last season's 4-13 record was hard. There were no expectations to fulfill. So Jerod Mayo was fired after just one year as head coach.

Now, a new chapter starts. Mike Vrabel is hiring in. He is a former player that knows how to win.
He has been a part of three Super Bowl championships and should be able to bring back the winning tradition.
The coach was up front about how difficult last season was. He clearly explained himself in the first episode of the new series called “Forged in Foxborough.”
This series was produced to show fans some insight into what happens behind the curtains.
"I mean why would I care what happened last year?" Vrabel said. "I'm focused on what we are going to get right today, tomorrow, and everyday thereafter.
We're not here for the mistakes. We're here to get better and to keep moving. "
The Patriots made some big changes this off-season. They knew the defense needed serious help, so they went all out to improve the defense.
The offense got some upgrades too. The Patriots signed defensive lineman Milton Williams with the highest contract to date.
They also signed cornerback Carlton Davis, a hard-nosed player. They acquired veterans Harold Landry and Robert Spillane to join the defense.
The Patriots added Morgan Moses and Garrett Bradbury to the offensive line. Their first-round pick was spent left tackle Will Campbell.
They also took a smart chance on receiver Stefon Diggs with a team-friendly deal.
It's not out of the ordinary to have these type of changes when a new coach arrives, but the massive overhaul shows how far this roster had fallen under former coach Bill Belichick and then interim coach Jerod Mayo.
Mike Vrabel is trying to leave that era behind. His goal is to get Robert Kraft's franchise to win again. Their first goal is to no longer be at the bottom of the AFC East.
"We are trying to create our own identity," Vrabel said. "Our number one goal is to win the division."
The last time the New England Patriots finished at the bottom of their division was between 2001 and 2022.
