Nikki Hall: "Jersey Shore" star Paul "DJ Pauly D" DelVecchio is engaged. He proposed to girlfriend Nikki Hall on Sept. 27. The couple have dated for about six years.
The proposal came in the middle of his DJ set. DelVecchio was performing at a pool party at OMNIA Dayclub at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.
He dropped to one knee in front of the crowd. Hall was caught off guard.
The club posted video of the moment on Instagram. Hall later shared her own post with photos of her ring.
She said the couple had spent the years choosing each other and never rushed a milestone. She called her answer "the easiest YES I've ever said."
How they met
The pair first crossed paths in 2019 on MTV's "Double Shot at Love." DelVecchio co-hosted the dating series with castmate Vinny Guadagnino.
Hall joined as a contestant and introduced herself as a Jamaican woman living in Los Angeles.
She bonded with DelVecchio quickly. That annoyed some of the other women competing for his attention.
Hall stayed focused on the connection. The two split after the first season.
Hall came back for season 2 in 2020. The couple confirmed they were together at the virtual reunion.
Asked about their status, Hall left her room on camera. She then appeared in DelVecchio's room and sat beside him. He told viewers they were living together.
Quarantine brought them closer
The COVID-19 pandemic began soon after filming wrapped. The couple quarantined at DelVecchio's home.
They told the "Jersey Shore" cast about the relationship in November 2020 during a virtual dinner.
DelVecchio said the lockdown cost him his tour. He said it also brought him closer to Hall.
Her career and reality TV appearances
Hall is a content creator. She has worked with brands including FaceApp, Hers, White Fox and Revolve.
In September 2022, she announced her swimwear line, Bair Bikini. She said the brand had been in the works for a couple of years.
Hall also appeared in several episodes of "Jersey Shore: Family Vacation." One scene in season 5 drew attention.
Angelina Pivarnick threw a glass of wine at Hall during a dispute involving Guadagnino. Hall poured wine back on her.
DelVecchio defended her, saying, "You don't bring wine to a water fight."
A bond with his daughter
DelVecchio has a daughter, Amabella. He told PEOPLE in August 2023 that Hall had met her.
The conversation took place at the season 6 premiere of "Jersey Shore: Family Vacation." He called it the couple's biggest milestone.
He said both were nervous at first, but the meeting went well. He added that the two now video chat constantly.
Hall has supported DelVecchio as his DJ career has grown. The couple have not shared a wedding date.
