Malik Nabers Injury: Malik Nabers took part in his second straight full practice on Friday.

Still, the New York Giants have not confirmed whether their star wide receiver will suit up for Sunday night's season opener against the Dallas Cowboys.

The team has officially listed Nabers as questionable. Head coach John Harbaugh offered an optimistic update on Wednesday, saying Nabers was "ready to go."

Nabers struck a more cautious tone one day later. He told reporters that sitting out remains a real possibility.

He also said the final call rests with him, not the coaching staff. Nabers suffered a torn ACL late last September.

He has said throughout the offseason that he won't return to the field until he can play a full game with no restrictions on his knee.

Recent practice sessions suggest Nabers is trending toward that benchmark. Even so, the Giants aren't expected to make his status official until game day draws closer.
