The country singer addressed the crowd during a recent Dandelion Tour stop in Columbus, Ohio.
She spoke about the intense scrutiny she has faced over the past year.

Langley said people have weighed in on nearly everything about her.
That includes her looks, her clothes, her voice, her stage moves and her songwriting.
She told the crowd she had never faced so many opinions about herself.
The 27-year-old admitted the attention made her doubt herself. She said she got into music because she loves to sing and perform.
She said she did not sign up to have every move judged. At one point, she questioned whether she was strong enough for this life.
Then her mindset shifted. Langley said she thought about her younger self and what it took to get here.
She said the girl being criticized is the same one who got her to this stage. That girl spent countless nights riding in a 15-passenger van.
She also rode in a Honda Accord. She got by on bar food and tip jar money.
Langley said she now leans on that determination instead of outside opinions.
She noted that her younger self had only a dream and the drive to chase it daily. She closed by telling fans she is proud of that girl.
'Choosin' Texas' Extends Record Run
The comments come at a high point in Langley's career.
Her song "Choosin' Texas" has now spent 24 straight weeks atop the Billboard Hot 100. It set a new chart record in its 23rd week at No. 1.
That topped the 22 cumulative weeks posted by Mariah Carey's "All I Want for Christmas Is You."
Langley marked the milestone in a Sept. 22 Instagram video captioned "Texas Forever." She said she was at a loss for words.
She thanked her fans and said the song is changing her life. She added that it is changing the lives of her family and the song's writers.
She also said it is building a foundation for a lifelong career.
Langley co-wrote the song with Miranda Lambert, Luke Dick and Joybeth Taylor.
It was released in October. It has since pushed Langley to a new tier of country stardom.
