Taylor Swift: Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are married. The couple exchanged vows on July 3 at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

But it's not just the ceremony making headlines. The guest list is drawing attention for an unexpected reason.

According to a report from journalist Rob Shuter, roughly 1,000 guests attended the star-studded event. Many of them, sources say, barely knew the bride and groom.

An insider claimed one question became a running joke throughout the night: "How do you know Taylor and Travis?" Guests reportedly struggled to answer.

The source said many attendees weren't close to the couple at all. Some had little to no personal connection with either Swift or Kelce.

The wedding has drawn comparisons to another high-profile royal affair.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's 2018 royal wedding also featured a guest list packed with influential figures.

Many of those attendees, reports noted at the time, had limited personal ties to the couple.

A separate insider echoed similar sentiments about Swift and Kelce's big day. Some guests were genuine friends of the couple, the source said.

Others were simply famous names with no real relationship to either Swift or Kelce. "The guest list became its own spectacle," the insider added.

With such a massive turnout, the newlyweds reportedly had limited time to greet everyone.

A source claimed many guests never got the chance to speak with the couple directly. "They certainly didn't have a real conversation," the insider said.

"Many don't even have Taylor's phone number or email to thank her afterward. That's what happens when your wedding becomes a celebrity convention."

Neither Swift nor Kelce has publicly commented on the guest list claims.
