Keyne: Lamine Yamal has no shortage of support at this year's World Cup.
His girlfriend, Inés García, is in the stands. So are his parents, Sheila and Mounir.
But one family member has stolen the spotlight more than anyone else. That would be his little brother, Keyne.
Keyne is 3 years old. He is actually Yamal's half-brother. His mother, Sheila Ebana, remarried after her split from Yamal's father, Mounir Nasraoui. She has kept her new husband's identity private.
Yamal has spoken openly about what that new chapter means to him. "I came from an apartment where the kitchen and bedroom were in the same place," he said last year.
He said watching his mother's happiness now means everything. He wants Keyne to have the childhood he once wished for himself.
There is a 16-year age gap between the brothers. That has not stopped Yamal from doting on Keyne.
The soccer star turned 19 earlier this week. He told reporters that seeing his little brother this happy moves him deeply.
He said the same about watching his mother and friends finally live the life they always wanted.
Yamal described his bond with Keyne in simple terms. He called him his everything. He said loving him feels like loving a son.
Keyne has become something of an internet sensation in his own right. Yamal does not think his little brother understands the attention yet. He said Keyne just acts like himself at home.
When the cameras find him, he tends to ham it up. Yamal said he expects Keyne will look back on the moment once he's older.
For now, Yamal said he enjoys the outpouring of love for his brother. He said watching Keyne on-screen brings him joy.
Yamal has another sibling, too. His sister, Baraa, is Mounir Nasraoui's daughter. Unlike Keyne, Baraa has chosen to stay away from the public eye.
