Mohamed Salah Return: Mohamed Salah has been named in the squad for Liverpool FC ahead of the club’s upcoming Premier League match against Aston Villa.

Liverpool squad update confirms the Mohamed Salah return for the upcoming match at Villa Park.

The Egyptian forward returns after a recent injury concern, providing a boost for Liverpool as the team prepares for the league fixture.

Salah was substituted during Liverpool’s 3-1 victory over Crystal Palace last month after appearing to suffer a hamstring issue.

The injury kept him out of Liverpool’s subsequent matches against Manchester United and Chelsea FC.

Meanwhile, Alexander Isak will not be available for selection after being ruled out with an injury.

Arne Slot confirmed ahead of Friday’s match that Mohamed Salah would be available for limited action against Aston Villa.

The Liverpool manager said Salah was expected to play only a few minutes as he continues his recovery from a recent hamstring injury.

Salah was included in the matchday squad at Villa Park and was named among the substitutes for the Premier League fixture.

Meanwhile, Alexander Isak was not included for the game after being ruled out due to injury.

The striker had also missed the previous match against Manchester United and appeared only as a substitute in the recent clash with Chelsea FC.

According to sources cited by ESPN, Isak’s absence is considered precautionary.

He is expected to be available for Liverpool’s next league match against Brentford FC at Anfield next week.

Alexander Isak continues to endure a difficult first season on Merseyside, with injuries significantly limiting his impact since arriving at the club.

The Swedish forward was sidelined for four months after suffering a broken leg during a match against Tottenham Hotspur in December.

Alisson Becker also remains unavailable for selection as he continues to recover from a hamstring injury that has kept him out since March.

Defender Jeremie Frimpong is absent as well after picking up a minor fitness issue.

Meanwhile, midfielder Florian Wirtz has recovered from a recent stomach infection and was deemed fit enough to be included among the substitutes.
