Quinshon Judkins Contract: The Browns have secured their 2025 second-round pick. The rookie running back is set to begin practice with the team.
Quinshon Judkins has agreed to a four-year deal worth $11.4 million. The contract is fully guaranteed, per NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport.
However, Rapoport also reports that Judkins will not play in Sunday’s opener against the Bengals.
Judkins was taken into custody on July 12 after being accused of touch or strike battery involving domestic violence.
Prosecutors in Florida later reviewed the case and chose not to file formal charges. They concluded that a conviction was unlikely given the circumstances.
Despite that decision, the 21-year-old running back may still face consequences from the NFL. The league continues to investigate the incident under its personal conduct policy.
According to NFL Network Insider Tom Pelissero, the Browns are expected to receive a temporary roster exemption for Judkins.

The exemption is routine for players who did not attend camp and is separate from any league discipline. It gives Judkins the chance to practice and get comfortable with the team.
In 2024, Judkins helped the Buckeyes win a national championship, piling up 1,060 rushing yards in his only season at Ohio State.
The Browns later picked him 36th overall in April’s draft. With his contract now finalized, every member of the 2025 draft class is signed.
