Jessica Pegula: Jessica Pegula, the top seed, showed great control on Saturday. She outplayed Iga Swiatek’s heavy topspin game on the grass court. Pegula sealed the win with a straight-sets victory, 6-4, 7-5, to claim the Bad Homburg Open title.

She didn’t lose her serve even once during the match. In fact, she faced just a single break point. Swiatek, meanwhile, missed out on what could have been her first career title on grass.
