Carter’s Confidence in Being No. 1
Carter isn't fearful of his talents. He is confident that he is this year's top prospect.
Carter said, "I think it's really realistic. I believe that I am the world's best player, and the best player should be selected first overall."

It's a bold claim. In 2022, Travon Walker became the last non-quarterback to be selected first overall. For years before to that, quarterbacks held the top spot. But Carter isn't giving up.
Before the season started, he set this goal. He's closer than ever now. He said, "It's very important for me." It's a topic I have always discussed. I've worked hard for it.

Injury Update and Draft Preparations
In the Fiesta Bowl, Carter injured his shoulder. He will not be working out at the NFL Scouting Combine as a result. He will just take part in interviews and medical examinations instead.
He reports that 90% of his shoulder has recovered and is getting better. "I really start getting close to 100 this next month," Carter said.

Excited for Draft Night
Carter is going to Green Bay for the NFL Draft. He is excited about this moment. Being able to step on the stage is truly just me realizing my dreams.
