Bill Gates Divorce: According to Bill Gates, his greatest regret in life is divorcing Melinda after 27 years of marriage.

They have strong moral values. Bill, who is 69, is seeing Paula Hurd, 62, who is the widow of Mark Hurd, the CEO of Oracle.


60-year-old Melinda has also moved on. She is currently seeing Philip Vaughn, an entrepreneur.

Looking back on their early years together, Bill said, "I was successful, but not very successful, when Melinda and I first met.


Later, after our marriage, my success reached new heights. She supported me during many challenging moments. Going through the divorce was challenging for both of us.


After that, she decided to step away from the foundation. It was disappointing for me that she chose that path.


In 1994, Bill and Melinda tied the knot. Phoebe, 22, Rory, 25, and Jennifer, 28, are their three children.


In May 2021, they made their separation public. They disclosed that they had been living apart for the past 12 months.


Particularly when Melinda confronted him with an alleged affair with a Microsoft employee, Bill acknowledged that he had caused suffering.


He stated, "I certainly made mistakes, and I take responsibility."


He additionally stated, "I don’t think focusing on the details is helpful, but yes, I caused pain, and I feel terrible about that."
