Wednesday Season 3: Netflix will release "Wednesday" Season 3 in 2027. The new season is set to take a darker turn.
Filming is underway in Ireland and France. Viewers can expect a deeper look at Nevermore and at Wednesday herself.
Netflix officially renewed the series on July 23, 2025. Showrunner Alfred Gough shared the team's goal for the new season.
He said the aim is to make it "the best season of Wednesday we possibly can."
He added that the writers want to dig deeper into the characters and expand the world of Nevermore.
What to Expect
Gough told news outlets that Season 3 will get darker. He said Ophelia will play a bigger role.
Viewers caught a glimpse of her at the end of Season 2, Episode 8. Gough said her story will lead to more Addams family mysteries.
Co-creator Miles Millar pointed to a key theme. He said "Wednesday must die" is a big part of the season.
Millar described the Addamses as a family that loves each other. He also said they love secrets and lying to each other. He called it a mix of "love and lies."
