Isack Hadjar Red Bull: Red Bull driver Isack Hadjar will start the Miami Grand Prix from the back of the grid after being disqualified from Saturday’s qualifying session.

Isack Hadjar Red Bull car in Miami after being disqualified for a 2mm floor board violation in qualifying.

Hadjar had originally secured ninth place during qualifying. However, race officials ruled his car did not meet technical regulations.

The issue involved both the right and left-side floor boards on the vehicle. Red Bull acknowledged the problem and described it as a mistake by the team.

As a result, Hadjar lost his qualifying position and will line up at the rear of the field for Sunday’s race.

Miami Grand Prix stewards said they reviewed the case involving Car 6, driven by Isack Hadjar, following technical inspections after qualifying.

According to the official statement, team representatives did not challenge the findings of the FIA Technical Delegate.

Inspectors determined that sections of the left-hand and right-hand floor boards extended 2mm beyond the permitted reference volume known as RV-FLOOR BOARD.

Stewards said the issue represented a violation of Article C3.5.5 of the FIA Formula One Regulations.

As a result, standard penalties for an admitted breach of the technical rules were applied.

Red Bull confirmed on race morning that Isack Hadjar will start the Miami Grand Prix from the back of the grid after the team admitted to an error.

The team accepted the stewards’ ruling following the technical breach discovered after qualifying.

Team principal Laurent Mekies said Red Bull respected the decision made by race officials.

Mekies added that no performance advantage was intended or gained from the mistake.

He said the team will review its internal procedures to determine how the issue occurred and to prevent a repeat in the future.

Red Bull also issued an apology to Hadjar, as well as to the team’s fans and commercial partners.

Red Bull said the team had learned a difficult lesson from the incident and is now focused on responding positively in the race.

The team added that attention has shifted toward turning Saturday’s encouraging qualifying pace into a strong performance at the Miami Grand Prix.

Meanwhile, the car of Hadjar’s teammate Max Verstappen passed all post-qualifying technical checks.

Verstappen is set to start the race from second place on the grid.
