Callahan’s tenure as head coach in Tennessee ended early, with the team moving on after six games.
Allen and Callahan previously worked together with the Cincinnati Bengals earlier in their careers. On the field, Allen saw limited action last season.
He appeared in one game for Tennessee, completing 17 of 30 passes for 72 yards with one interception.
Throughout his NFL journey, Allen has also spent time with the San Francisco 49ers and the Denver Broncos.
